Tim Bristol is the director of SalmonState. Previously, he served as the Alaska Program Director of Trout Unlimited for ten years, as the Executive Director of the Alaska Coalition, as a grassroots organizer for the Southeast Alaska Conservation Council, and as the Alaska representative for the Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition. Tim is the 2012 recipient of the Alaska Conservation Foundation’s Olas Murie Award for outstanding professional contributions to conservation. He lives and works in beautiful Juneau, Alaska with his wife Jan Rumble.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

To be able to swim and speak with the fishes, of course.

What’s your favorite wild Alaskan food?

King and/or sockeye salmon.
